ISO 14001 Environment Management System;
It is an international standard that make institutions take their intractionas under control while they continue their activities. All kinds of activities are a component of the system of environment. Recognizing that resources are not unlimited has made people understand that the environmental impact of products and activities are not local or regional but global. In other words, sensitivity to the environment demands more than good intentions. As well as lowering the costs, using the energy in a more efficient way, meticilously selecting raw materials and by-products, and recoverabilty of wastes are only some of these impacts. In fact, many factors like these have become widespread and has contributed to advantage in competition.
What is Environmental Management System?
Most of the businesses have or may have harm on the environment. The system developed to minimize these harms or risks systematically or rationally are called Environment Management System

In order to decrease its impact on environment or its risks systematically and rationally, Akkim has established an Environment Management System. In September 2004, our company has been supervised by BVQI Company and received ISO 14001 Document.
Besides, since 1994 Akkim has been applying Responsible Care Program, which means to give priority to environment, human health and technical security and apply it voluntarily.
