Ak-Kim's new CEO: Mr. Fatih Tanverdi

Turkey’s leading and pioneering chemicals producer Ak-Kim assigned Mr. Fatih Tanverdi, a veteran in chemicals industry, as CEO.


Operating in the chemicals industry in which Turkey’s leading industrial group Akkök Group of Companies aim to grow in line with its strategic plan adopted in 2005, Ak-Kim produces more than 100 chemicals from basic chemicals to integrated end products.

Drawing attention with its wide exports network covering many locations from Canada to South Korea and its turnkey installation services that gained momentum in recent years, Ak-Kim assigned Mr. Fatih Tanverdi as CEO. Mr. Tanverdi graduated from İstanbul Technical University as a Chemistry Engineer in 1978 and had his master’s degree at the same university in 1980.

Continuing his academic career as an assistant at İstanbul Technical University Chemistry Faculty in 1980-1984, then entered the private sector with his new task at Türk Henkel. Assuming responsibilities at various levels of the company, he held senior posts including Metal Chemicals strategic Business Unit Manager and Surface Technologies General Manager. Having served as Henkel Technologies Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Transcaucasia General Manager between 1999 and 2006, Fatih Tanverdi’s final position in the company was General Manager, responsible for organizational restructuring, management of Henkel Technologies of three different departments and business development.

In May2007, he became Board Member at Borova A.Ş. and then he worked as the CEO, Executive and Board Member of CNR Holding.

Born in 1956, Fatih Tanverdi is married with 2 children. He is fluent in English and German.
